CO-FOUNDER, CEO

Sydnie Giles

Targeting her practice through an ethnomusicological and economic lens, Sydnie has deep expertise across markets including South Korea, Japan, West Africa, Latin America, the Balkans, and Australia. Her professional background spans artist management for U.S.-based rappers and vocalists, as well as Korean-based talent, giving her a cross-market understanding of creative development, branding, and global positioning. To further enhance her global perspective, Sydnie has developed working proficiency in Japanese, Korean, and French.

Sydnie earned her BA from NYU’s Music Business program with a dual minor in East Asian Civilizations and Africana Studies. She was one of the first employees at Duetti, where she worked closely with founders Lior Tibon and Christopher Nolte during the company’s early growth. Throughout her career, Sydnie has collaborated with industry disruptors, including the founding team of Music Breakr, and has been mentored by veterans Marcie Allen— with whom she was part of the team that secured Peso Pluma’s first brand partnership with Sony Audio— Joey Harris, and Alicia Gooding.

Alongside her industry work, Sydnie, in collaboration with Clayton Durant of CAD Management, has contributed to music business education at both NYU and Long Island University, where her efforts helped lead to the first-ever class-oriented sponsorship for the Roc Nation School of Music under the course Music Entrepreneurship, in partnership with Sweetwater. She is currently co-authoring a Latin American music industry guidebook with industry powerhouse Bruno Duque.
